Welcome to Mamma and Daddy (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mamma and Daddy mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, “the Service”).

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
6. AI Disclaimer
The AI responses provided by the App are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Specifically:
- Not Medical Advice: The App does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or healthcare guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns about you or your child.
- Not Legal Advice: The App does not provide legal advice or services. Consult a qualified attorney for legal matters.
- Not Mental Health Services: The App is not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or mental health services. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact appropriate emergency services or crisis helplines.

7. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the App responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

- Upload or share any content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

We use certain third-party service providers to operate the App, including:
- AI Provider: Chat messages are processed by our AI service to generate responses.
- Supabase: Data storage and backend infrastructure.
- Apple & Google: App store distribution and authentication services.
These providers have their own terms and privacy policies that govern your use of their services.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mamma and Daddy, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App in violation of these Terms.
- Your User Content that infringes the rights of any third party.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including if:
- You breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
- We are required to do so by law.
- We decide to discontinue the Service.
Upon termination:
- Your access to the App will cease.
- We may delete your Account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply (including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and indemnification).
You may terminate your Account at any time by contacting us or through the App settings.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through:

- An email to the address associated with your Account.

Changes become effective upon posting, unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the App and terminate your Account.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mamma and Daddy regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.
